Sara Arrhenius, Vice-Chancellor
Sara Arrhenius is a curator, writer and critic based in Stockholm. Most recently she has as the first Director of Bonniers Konsthall brought the art institution from build-up and opening to its current position with a number of well acknowledged exhibitions and projects.
As director of IASPIS (2000-2005) Sara Arrhenius lead an internationally well attended programme of residencies, artist support, exhibitions and publications. Arrhenius is Chairman of Bildkonstnärsfonden. She founded the magazine NU – the Nordic Art Review and has been editor-in-chief at the Art Magazine Index. She writes regularely in the international publication ArtReview.
In the authorship of Arrhenius one can mention Andreas Eriksson, Roundabouts (2014), Mer än ljud (2013) and Resan till månen (2012). As a curator Arrhenius has performed a large number of exhibitions such as Insomnia with amongst others Carsten Höller, Leif Elggren and Kate Cooper (2016), Laura Lima, Den nakna magikern (2014) and Minneskonst with amongst others Gerard Byrne, Cecilia Edefalk and Alina Szapoznikov (2013).
